Major housing association names 15 firms to £30m legal services framework

Sanctuary Housing Association has appointed 15 law firms to a £30m legal services panel providing support in England and Scotland.
Sanctuary owns and manages around 120,000 units of accommodation.
The 15 firms selected were:

- Mills & Reeve
- Capsticks
- Devonshires
- Browne Jacobson
- Weightmans
- Clarke Willmott
- Ward Hadaway
- Brodies
- Burness Paull
- Thorntons Law
- Anderson Strathern
- Morton Fraser MacRoberts
The contract was divided into the following lots:
- Strategic Legal Partners
- Commercial/Regulatory
- Pensions/Employment
- Property/Development & Construction
- Housing Management/Housing Litigation
- Social Care and Regulation
- Corporate (Scotland)
- Housing & Development (Scotland)
The firms appointed as strategic legal partners were Gowling WLG (UK) and Trowers & Hamlins,
The contract runs from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2028.
Contracts Lawyer
£46,498 - £59,145 depending on skills and experience.
Antisocial Behaviour Legal Officer
£35,833 per annum, rising to £37,356 after probation
Legal Director - Government and Public Sector
Competitive salary.
Education Lawyer
£45,091 - £51,356 per annum
Lawyer (Planning and Regulatory)
£46,498 - £59,145 depending on skills and experience.
Governance Lawyer
£46,498 - £59,145 depending on skills and experience.
