Major housing association names 15 firms to £30m legal services framework

Details

Sanctuary Housing Association has appointed 15 law firms to a £30m legal services panel providing support in England and Scotland.

Sanctuary owns and manages around 120,000 units of accommodation.

The 15 firms selected were:

  • Trowers & Hamlins
  • Bevan Brittan
  • Mills & Reeve
  • Capsticks
  • Devonshires
  • Browne Jacobson
  • Weightmans
  • Clarke Willmott
  • Ward Hadaway
  • Brodies
  • Burness Paull
  • Thorntons Law
  • Anderson Strathern
  • Morton Fraser MacRoberts

The contract was divided into the following lots:

  1. Strategic Legal Partners
  2. Commercial/Regulatory
  3. Pensions/Employment
  4. Property/Development & Construction
  5. Housing Management/Housing Litigation
  6. Social Care and Regulation
  7. Corporate (Scotland)
  8. Housing & Development (Scotland)

The firms appointed as strategic legal partners were Gowling WLG (UK) and Trowers & Hamlins,

The contract runs from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2028.
