A consortium of Scottish councils, a major social housing provider and other organisations have appointed 12 law firms to a £2m legal services framework.
The buyers are:
- Glasgow City Council
- North Lanarkshire Council
- North Ayrshire Council
- Wheatley Housing Group
- Clyde Gateway
- City Property Glasgow
- City Building Glasgow
- Jobs & Business Glasgow
- Cordia Services
The framework was divided into the following lots:
- Education prosecutions.
- Employment.
- Corporate.
- General Litigation.
- Children & Families – Advice and Representation.
- General conveyancing.
- Construction.
The successful firms were:

- Brodies (3, 6, 7)
- Burness Paull (2)
- JK Cameron (5)
- Clyde & Co Scotland (2)
- CMS Cameron Mckenna (7)
- DAC Beachcroft (1, 6)
- Harper Macleod (3, 4, 6, 7)
- Morton Fraser (3, 4, 5, 7)

- Shoosmiths (2, 6)
The framework is understood to be in place for 48 months.

£42,839 - £46,142 per annum, plus a £5,000 welcome payment

Senior Legal Advisor (Childcare)
£40,643 - £54,423 per annum, plus Market Supplement of up to £7,500 per annum (dependant on experience)
