A zero sum game?

NHS procurement groups to establish £200m legal services framework

The North of England NHS Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) is seeking to establish a new framework agreement for legal services worth up to £200m over four years.

NOE CPC is working in collaboration with NHS London Procurement Partnership (NHS LPP) on the establishment of the framework.

It said the resulting framework would cover a wide range of legal services and be available for use by NHS and other public sector organisations across the UK.

However, NOE CPC also stressed that it is not intended that the resulting framework agreement will cover provision of legal services where specifically related to clinical negligence matters, which fall under the scope of NHS Resolution.

The closing date is 27 September 2024 (1 pm).

The framework is due to begin on 1 February 2025 and run until 1 February 2029.
