LLG holds elections for Deputy Vice President and Junior National Lead

LLG (Lawyers in Local Government) has launched elections for the roles of Deputy Vice President and Junior National Lead.
The elections close on 16 March 2026 and the successful candidates will assume the posts at the organisation’s AGM on 29 April.
The four candidates for Deputy Vice President are:
- Asif Ibrahim, Director of Legal Services at Manchester City Council
- Patricia Narebor, Interim MO governance expert, previously Monitoring Officer and Deputy Director Legal and Democratic Services at London Borough of Bexley from October 2021 to January 2026
- Shiraz Sheikh, Assistant Director for Law, Governance and Procurement at Cherwell District Council
- Nichola Vine, Head of Legal and Governance at Warwickshire County Council

The successful candidate for Deputy Vice-President will assume the presidency of the organisation in 2028.
At the AGM current Vice-President Helen Bradley will become President and Deputy Vice-President Anita Bradley will become Vice-President.
The three candidates for Junior National Lead are:
- Carla Bayona, Trainee Solicitor at Harrow Council
- Wiktoria Frej, Trainee Solicitor at One Legal
- Chantelle Johnson, Solicitor at Essex County Council
