South London Legal Partnership joins London Boroughs Legal Alliance
- Details
The South London Legal Partnership (SLLP) has joined the London Boroughs Legal Alliance, meaning that 31 of the 33 Greater London authorities now belong to the organisation.
SLLP comprises the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton and Wandsworth and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
The LBLA was established in 2009 as a collaborative partnership of local authority legal teams, with the assistance of consultancy Kennedy Cater.
In December last year the LBLA appointed 24 sets of chambers after procuring its latest Barristers Legal Services Framework, worth an estimated £60m.
In July 2022 the alliance named 11 firms appointed to its Solicitors Panel, which was estimated to be worth up to £16m over four years.
