Cornerstone Barristers has appointed James Findlay KC and Robin Green as Joint Heads of Chambers, effective from 23 July 2025.

Findlay and Green take over from Philip Coppel KC and Tom Cosgrove KC following completion of their second term.

Over the past few years, Cornerstone Barristers has grown to more than 60 barristers, 15 of whom are in silk and 12 are on the Attorney General’s panel.

The set said that under Coppel and Cosgrove’s guidance, Cornerstone has “flourished as one of the UK’s foremost planning, public law and housing sets, expanding its breadth of expertise and reinforcing its reputation for legal excellence”.

In a joint statement, James Findlay KC and Robin Green said: “We are honoured to be taking on the leadership of Cornerstone Barristers. We are committed to building on the outstanding work of Philip and Tom, and we look forward to working alongside our exceptionally talented members, our dedicated clerking team, and our dynamic CEO, Nadia Biles Davies.
