Trowers links up with Project Advisory Group to offer service organisations undertaking digital infrastructure projects

Trowers & Hamlins has entered into a collaboration arrangement with The Project Advisory Group Limited (“PAG”) to provide a niche service to public and private sector entities undertaking digital infrastructure projects such as fibre, 4G or 5G.

PAG specialises in the provision of advisory services to the communications market.

The arrangement coincides with the arrival at Trowers of Mark Jury, who has joined the law firm as a consultant this month.

A practising solicitor and a co-owner and director of PAG, Jury was previously a partner and joint chief executive of Ashfords LLP having spent the majority of his career advising on major infrastructure projects.

Jury said: "Both of our businesses are already operating in the communications market so there are immediate synergies in terms of existing client bases and, going forwards, the Government’s ambitious digital agenda creates significant growth potential. We are looking forward to helping our clients achieve their objectives."

Trowers partner Helen Randall said: "This is an exciting venture for us. Our combined offering will create a single source provider of commercial, technical, financial, procurement and legal services - a service set that wraps every element of a digital project’s life-cycle.

“This now enables us to respond to the full scope of a client’s advisory requirements and the strength and depth of expertise of our teams means that we are geared to engage with any element of a project at any stage of its development."

Trowers said joint business development activities were already underway with an initial focus on project sponsors (e.g. local authorities, cities, LEPs, developers, private landowners etc.) and contractors.
