Duncan Field to become managing partner of planning law firm Town Legal

Field’s appointment comes as Clare Fielding, one of the firm’s founding partners and Field's predecessor as managing partner, leaves legal practice to set up her own coaching business.

Town Legal said: “Clare was a pivotal figure in helping to establish Town Legal in 2016, developing a shared vision with other founding partners to build a truly unique law firm and bringing her market-leading reputation as well as a wealth of experience of major projects such as Battersea Power Station and the Emirates Stadium.

“Widely regarded within the firm as the custodian of Town Legal’s culture and values, Clare became managing partner in 2023 and has overseen significant growth in the business including most recently the establishment of the firm’s new Manchester office.”

The firm said that in his new role Duncan Field will work closely with new deputy managing partner Elizabeth Christie and CFO/COO Seema Jones as part of the leadership team.
