- Details
Landmark Chambers has strengthened its property team with the arrival of three barristers whose expertise includes residential and commercial landlord and tenant work, real property disputes, building safety, leasehold and insolvency.
Robert Bowker has more than 20 years’ experience in property-related work. He has particular expertise in building safety, fire safety and cladding matters, including remediation orders, remediation contribution orders and leaseholder protections under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Landmark Chambers said Bowker’s practice also covers commercial and residential property disputes, dilapidations, major works, boundary disputes and land registration.
James Fieldsend meanwhile has experience in significant cases before the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and Upper Tribunal.
“His practice encompasses commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, as well as advising developers on the ownership and management of mixed-use developments,” the set said.
The third arrival, Sami Allan, practises in property and insolvency law. His property work includes possession proceedings, injunctions, disrepair, breach of covenant, easements, landlord and tenant disputes and professional negligence. “He also has a particular interest in mortgages, property-related fraud and transactions concerning interests in land.”
Mark Ball, Landmark Chambers’ Practice Director for Property, said: “We are delighted that James, Robert and Sami are joining Landmark. Their recruitment is a deliberate and strategic investment in the continued growth of our property practice. Each brings expertise that complements a different part of our work. Together, they add further depth to the team and strengthen the breadth of service we can offer clients.”
