Devonshires strengthens Housing Management & Property Litigation team with two partners

Murphy will be based in Devonshires’ London office, with Sahota joining the Birmingham team.

Murphy joins Devonshires with more than 20 years’ experience as a property litigator, advising on both commercial and residential matters.

The firm said she has “extensive experience in adverse possession claims and restrictive covenant issues, alongside a strong track record in mediation and settlement negotiations”.

Prior to joining Devonshires, Sahota worked in the housing management team at Capsticks.

She has more than 10 years’ experience in advising registered providers and local authorities on a broad range of housing management and litigation matters.

“Her work regularly involves complex possession proceedings, injunctions and closure order matters, often where issues of vulnerability, substance misuse or mental health are present,” Devonshires said.
