The firm said Richards, who joins from Gowling WLG, has “extensive experience of large-scale, complex Government and wider public sector transactions, and regularly advises clients on preparatory stages including participation in options assessments, strategic procurement and the formation and structuring of transactions”.

Her practice extends to advising on regulated procurement, shared working, contracts, major projects and general governance and constitutional matters.

Among her client base has been a wide range of central government bodies as well as The Royal Parks, NHS, blue light services, local government, housing associations and others.
