Leading planning silk among ten new High Court judges

He has been assigned to the King’s Bench Division.

• Nigel Lickley KC, a Deputy High Court judge and Circuit Judge (King’s Bench Division)
• David Pievsky KC of Blackstone Chambers (King’s Bench Division)
• Nicola Rushton KC of Hailsham Chambers (Business and Property Division)
• Dan Squires KC of Matrix Chambers (King’s Bench Division)
• Paul Stanley of Essex Court Chambers (Business and Property Division)
• Michael Tappin KC of 8 New Square (Business and Property Division)
• Andrew Twigger KC of Maitland Chambers (Business and Property Division)

The appointments fill vacancies in the High Court following elevations to the Court of Appeal and confirmed retirements.
