One of the UK’s largest social landlords, Platform Housing, has launched the procurement of its next legal services framework, which is estimated to be worth £20m.

The replacement framework is to be divided into the following lots:

  • Lot 1: Property and Development. This covers the procurement of legal services including but not limited to: Resales; Section 106 Agreements; Deeds of Variation, and Disposals of tenanted stock.
  • Lot 2: Housing and Asset Management. This covers the procurement of legal services including but not limited to: Disrepair claims; evictions; service charge advice; changes to shared ownership arrears recovery, and Breach of Transfer covenants.
  • Lot 3: Corporate and Finance. This covers the procurement of legal services including but not limited to: acquisitions and disposals; Taxation advice; Fund Management, and contract advice and drafting.

The contract is expected to run from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2030.

The award criteria are quality (weighting: 70%) and cost (weighting: 30%).

Platform Housing manages almost 50,000 homes across the Midlands.
