Jonathan Auburn KC is a leading public law barrister with more than two decades of education law experience. He is the co-author of the LexisNexis Education Law Handbook, and advises an array of clients including local authorities and the Secretary of State for Education. He will deliver the event's key note address on 'SEND and the Local Authority: The Path Ahead'.

Satnam Virdi is the convenor of LASEN and is Principal Solicitor with SV Law. He is current Chair of the national Education Law Association. He qualified in a large London firm and worked in-house in a large London LA, before setting up his education law firm. He has worked part time as a Financial Services
Ombudsman. He provides statutory training around the country.

BARRISTER
Anna has a broad public law practice with expertise in the Court of Protection (health and welfare) and education law. She is a committee Member of the Education Law Association and regularly provides training on exclusions, SEN provision, and discrimination. She will address the topic of Tackling Complex and High Value Extended Appeals .
