Scottish Government names eight law firms to £28m framework

The Scottish Government has appointed eight law firms to its 2023-2027 legal services framework, which is estimated to be worth £28m.
The contract was divided into the following lots:
- Contract, Commercial & Corporate;
- Debt Recovery;
- Litigation, Reparation, Employment & Inquiries;
- Major Infrastructure and Commercial Projects (incl related litigation);
- Property and Related Matters;
- One Stop Shop.
The successful firms were:
- Addleshaw Goddard (lots 1, 4)
- Anderson Strathern (1, 2, 3, 5, 6)
- Brodies (1, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (4)
- DWF (1, 2, 3, 4, 6)
- Harper Macleod (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- MacRoberts (1, 2, 3, 4, 6)
- Morton Fraser (3, 5, 6)
With an estimated value of £28m, this agreement is almost double the size of the predecessor framework.
It was procured by the Scottish Procurement and Property Directorate (SPPD). The SPPD is the organisation tasked with procuring frameworks and contracts on behalf of Scottish public sector bodies.
