University names providers to £1.75m legal services framework

The framework was divided into the following lots:

1. Commercial and Corporate Law
2. Governance, Regulatory, Constitutional, Charity and Health & Safety Law
3. Employment Law
4. Dispute Resolution and Litigation
5. Estates and Property Law (including Construction Law)
6. Patent Attorney

The successful firms were:

• Browne Jacobson (lots 2, 4)
• Cleveland Scott York (6)
• HCR Legal (1)
• Mills & Reeve (3)
• VWV (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

The university anticipates that the contract will run from 1 August 2025 for an initial period of three years until 31 July 2028. At the end of the first three years the university will have an option to extend for a further two years.
