Major NW social landlord to procure £5m legal services framework

The largest affordable housing provider in the North West, Torus, has issued a contract notice for a legal services framework worth an estimated £5m.
Torus has divided the framework into the following lots:
- Development and Specialist Property Transactions
- Sales and Routine Property Transactions
- Corporate and Finance
- Employment and HR
- Housing Management
The contract is due to start on 31 May 2021 and run until 31 May 2025.
Torus, which previously conducted soft market testing ahead of procurement of the legal services framework, said: “Torus is a large and diverse organisation, we are simultaneously a landlord, property developer, commercial contractor and social entrepreneur. We manage 40,000 homes, employ 1,500 people with a mission to grow stronger communities.
