Irwin Mitchell bolsters Manchester Court of Protection team with partner hire

Law firm Irwin Mitchell has added Georgina Garner as a partner in its Court of Protection team in Manchester.

Garner was previously a Partner and Head of the Court of Protection Department at Slater Heelis.

She regularly receives direct instructions from multiple local authorities and other law firms acting on behalf of people without capacity or those who need additional assistance managing their financial affairs.

Garner also acts as a professional deputy or attorney for property and financial affairs with various clients, from young children to those in later life. She has experience with managing multi-million-pound settlements from personal injury claims and has been a member of Association of Lifetime Lawyers, CoPPA and the Professional Deputies Forum.
