Isle of Wight appoints Bevan Brittan for waste and PFI contract work
- Details
The Isle of Wight Council has appointed law firm Bevan Brittan to give waste and PFI contract support and advice.
The contract is to run for a period of three years with the option to extend for a further period of up to one year at the sole discretion of the authority.
The award criteria were: meeting specification including customer care and quality / (weighting: 25); working practices (weighting: 30); added value (weighting: 5); price (weighting: 40).
In 2016 the local authority withdrew the two other lots – Commercial Property and Planning – from the legal services procurement exercise as it “wished to reconsider how we best tender them”.
It also abandoned the process for other contract elements in the contract and procurement lot beyond waste and PFI contract support and advice.
