Town Legal to open Manchester office with three senior planning lawyers

Lisa Tye and Kathryn Jump are Partners and Joint Heads of Planning at Shoosmiths. David Mathias, also joining from Shoosmiths, is a specialist planning solicitor with more than ten years’ experience.

Town was founded in London in 2016 by a group of leading planning lawyers and now employs almost 60 people. 

The firm’s Managing Partner, Clare Fielding, said: “The north west is a vibrant environment for development and we already are working for various clients on a number of interesting projects.

“One of our business objectives has been to grow in the north and Manchester is the perfect twin location for us alongside London.
