Bevan Brittan boosts turnover and net profit by 4%+ for 2018-19 financial year
- Details
Law firm Bevan Brittan has seen both turnover and net profit grow by more than 4% in the 2018/19 financial year.
The firm’s turnover rose 4.5% to £46m, while net profit increased by 4.2% to £9.97m.
Bevan Brittan managing partner Duncan Weir said: “This has been another strong financial year for the firm and since 2012/13 we have, over the last six years, organically grown our revenue by 40%.
“We have built upon last year’s excellent growth in revenue and profit, at 12% and 23% respectively, and invested in new systems and processes to support our clients, attracted new talent and begun refurbishing our offices.”
Weir added: “The firm has a clear strategy for a balanced client portfolio that focuses on local and central government, the NHS, independent and social care and the wider housing sector – we have also successfully expanded into new markets including energy sustainability, manufacturing, insurance and technology. As a result we now advise more than 800 businesses across the country.”
The law firm said it had welcomed 300 new clients, including Barchester Healthcare, Shawbrook Bank, RehabilityUK and United Communities.
Key investments during the year included upgrading its IT infrastructure with a new practice management system and new software to further support agile working. Three new partners also joined the firm during the period.
