Weightmans grows turnover by £2.2m to record £89.2m for 2014/15

National law firm Weightmans has increased its turnover by £2.2m to £89.2m for the 2014/2015 financial year.

The law firm said this growth had “come about due to high level performances from various parts of the business over the year, all supported by excellent operational delivery”.

It also argued that it enjoyed low levels of debt in relation to both to profit and turnover, when compared to its peers.

John Schorah, Managing Partner at Weightmans, said: "We have an exciting year ahead with further plans to grow and expand, and over this financial year we will continue to invest in our business, improving our processes and procedures for our clients and our people. We will build on some of the exciting developments of the previous year that have strengthened our brand, holding us in great stead for the forthcoming year and beyond."

Earlier this month Browne Jacobson, another national firm with a major public sector practice, announced a 17% increase in its turnover to £58.9m for 2014/15.
