London universities to procure £30m legal services framework
- Details
The London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) has begun the procurement of its latest legal services framework, which is worth an estimated £30m and covers England and Wales.
LUPC said the framework will also be available to the members of other university purchasing consortia: HEPCW, NEUPC, NWUPC, and SUPC. “Members include higher education, further education, schools, the wider public sector and not for profit institutions.”
Lots under the framework will include legal services such as: commercial services, dispute resolution (including student matters), human resources, and a one-stop-shop.
The contract is expected to commence on 20 May 2021 and run until 19 May 2025.
The closing date is 12pm on 8 March 2021.
In 2017 LUPC named Kent County Council Legal Services (now Invicta Law) and 21 law firms to a panel estimated at the time to be worth £70m.
