Group of Surrey councils select six firms to £8m property and regen panel

A group of local authorities in Surrey have named six law firms to a framework for property and regeneration legal services worth an estimated £8m over four years.
The contracting authorities involved were Spelthorne Borough Council, Waverley Borough Council and Woking Borough Council.
A number of the other members of the Surrey Administrators and Solicitors will have access to the panel; they are: Elmbridge Borough Council, Guildford Borough Council, Mole Valley District Council, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, Runnymede Borough Council, Surrey County Council, Surrey Heath Borough Council and Tandridge District Council.
The firms appointed are:

- Browne Jacobson
- Clyde & Co
- Davitt Jones Bould
- Freeths
- TLT
The procurement was managed by consultancy Kennedy Cater.
The contract was awarded on the basis of service delivery (weighting: 70%) and price (weighting: 30%).
