Civil Justice Council to recruit non-judicial members

The Civil Justice Council is to recruit seven non-judicial members across a range of practice areas.
The vacancies are:
- Consumer
- Academic
- Welsh interests
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- Insurance
- Housing
- Solicitor
The deadline for applications is 11am on Monday 15 September 2025.
Interested parties can apply via the Cabinet Office Public Appointments website.
The Council’s statutory duty is to review the civil justice system and make recommendations to the Lord Chancellor, the judiciary and the Civil Procedure Rule Committee on the development of the civil justice system to make it more accessible, fair and efficient.
