North East council to procure framework for claims handling legal services

Sunderland City Council has launched the procurement of a framework for claims handling legal services worth an estimated £190,000.
The contract is expected to run from 12 October 2018 to 24 June 2022.
The local authority said the framework would be awarded on a ranked supplier basis. “It is envisaged the top three highest ranked suppliers will be appointed to this framework orders will be placed with the supplier ranked first however if the first ranked supplier is unable to meet the council’s requirements orders may be placed with the supplier ranked second and so on.”
The closing date is 17 May 2018.
