University appoints five providers to £1.4m legal services framework

The University of Hertfordshire has named 5 providers to a legal services framework worth an estimated £1.4m.
The contract was divided into the following lots:
- Commercial and corporate law.
- Governance, constitutional, charity and health and safety law.
- Employment law.
- Dispute resolution and litigation.
- Estates and property law.
- Patent attorney.
The successful firms were:
- Browne Jacobson (Lots 1, 5)
- Cleveland Scott York (6)
- JG Poole (1)
- Shakespeare Martineau (1, 2, 3, 4)
- Mills & Reeve (3)
The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 60) and pricing aspects (weighting: 40).
