University appoints five providers to £1.4m legal services framework

The University of Hertfordshire has named 5 providers to a legal services framework worth an estimated £1.4m.

The contract was divided into the following lots:

  1. Commercial and corporate law.
  2. Governance, constitutional, charity and health and safety law.
  3. Employment law.
  4. Dispute resolution and litigation.
  5. Estates and property law.
  6. Patent attorney.

The successful firms were:

  • Browne Jacobson (Lots 1, 5)
  • Cleveland Scott York (6)
  • JG Poole (1)
  • Shakespeare Martineau (1, 2, 3, 4)
  • Mills & Reeve (3)

The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 60) and pricing aspects (weighting: 40).
