YPO to set up £40-50m single provider framework for schools legal advice

Procurement organisation YPO has unveiled plans for a single provider framework agreement potentially worth between £40m and £50m for the provision of legal services to schools and academies.

YPO, which is 100% publicly owned, said these services would “include the conversion of a school into an academy, everyday legal advice and support through the means of a hotline service and more complex or project work”.

The framework agreement will cover the period from 16 September 2016 to 15 September 2018 with two options to extend for an additional 12 months.

The contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender in terms of quality (weighting 60) and cost (weighting 40).
