Liverpool City Council is to procure child care advocacy barrister services worth an estimated £1.5m.
The services include, but are not limited to:
- Care and placement order proceedings
- Contact
- Discharges of s.31 care orders
- Adoption applications
- Secure accommodation orders
- Forced marriage
- Female genital mutilation
- Honour based violence
The contract is due to start on 19 September 2022 and run until 18 September 2024.
