North East councils to procure £15m barristers framework for Children and Adult Services

Procurement organisation NEPO is to establish on behalf of the Association of North East Councils a £15m, four-year legal services framework for the provision of Children's and Adult's Barristers Services.
The contract will include representation in judicial proceedings before the courts and legal advice given in anticipation of or preparation for such proceedings, NEPO said.
The framework agreement will be available to NEPO member authorities, comprising of the 12 North East authorities and will be delivered within the North East of England.
The closing date is 7 January 2022 (12 pm).
The contract is expected to start on 1 April 2022 and end on 31 March 2026.
