Former real estate partner at City law firm joins Davitt Jones Bould

Real estate lawyer John Condliffe, previously of City firm Hogan Lovells, has joined Davitt Jones Bould (DJB) as a partner after completing an MSc in Business Analytics at University College London, which included studying machine learning and big data.

In his new role, Condliffe aims to use skills from his degree to optimise efficiency at the firm and enhance the firm's client services offer, DJB said.

At Hogan Lovells Condliffe practised for 24 years and was partner for 11.

DJB said he brings two and a half decades of transactional real estate law experience across all sectors and deal types, including institutional investment, landlord and tenant, sales, purchases and portfolio management, and property development to DJB.

He has particular knowledge in outsourcing and leasehold liability deals, advises on indirect property investments, and uses a highly analytical and data-driven approach to deliver legal advice in a robust, commercial and pragmatic manner, according to DJB.

Speaking about his new position, Condliffe said: "I'm passionate about helping businesses connect their data with the techniques and expertise they need to grow, improve and take advantage of new technologies. I'm delighted to be joining Davitt Jones Bould and look forward to applying the knowledge from my recent data and analytics studies to help the firm find new and enhanced ways to operate and better service clients."
