Housing association selects seven firms for £2.2m property and development legal panel

A leading social landlord in the Midlands has appointed seven law firms to a £2.2m panel for property and development legal advice.

WHG Housing Association, which procured the panel through the Places for People Group’s dynamic purchasing system, received 14 tenders.

It has appointed:

  • Roythornes Solicitors
  • Shakespeare Martineau
  • Devonshires Solicitors
  • Trowers and Hamlins
  • Shoosmiths
  • Weightmans
  • Forbes Solicitors

The contract was awarded on the basis of quality and technical merit (weighting: 80) and price (weighting: 20).

WHG owns and manages around 21,000 properties across the Midlands
