Bevan Brittan sets out plan to double size of Leeds practice

Law firm Bevan Brittan has unveiled plans to double the size of its 32-strong team in Leeds over the next three to five years.

The firm has agreed a deal to double its Toronto Square office space, on a ten year lease.

Bevan Brittan opened its Leeds office three years ago in September 2015 and now has ten partners based in the city. Local clients include Yorkshire Housing; Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust; A Shade Greener; Hornbeam Park and Sheffield City Council.

Michael Boyd, Head of the Leeds office at Bevan Brittan, said: “We are delighted to be doubling our space in Leeds. After three busy and successful years, this underlines our long-term commitment to the Yorkshire business community. We are here to stay, we’re growing and we greatly look forward to continuing to support private businesses and public organisations around the region and beyond. There is a vibrant economy here and we’re very happy to be part of it.”

Duncan Weir, Managing Partner at Bevan Brittan, said: “Our Leeds office is an important part of the firm and we are very pleased to be making the investment to enable it to grow in line with client demand for the future.

“Combined with our offices in Birmingham, Bristol and London, our Leeds operation gives us national reach and enables us to support the ambitious and active Northern economy. Members of the Leeds team also regularly work on national projects for clients around the country.

"We are taking the opportunity to refurbish the new office space which will be laid out in a way that supports flexible and agile working patterns."
