11KBW strengthens core practice areas with arrival of three barristers

They are:

• Jamie Susskind (2013 Call), a specialist in High Court commercial-employment cases and tribunal litigation. 11KBW said Susskind also has a general commercial/arbitration practice, and a developing practice in information law. "Jamie has a particular interest in data governance, privacy law, and free speech and has written widely on these subjects."
• John Bethell (2014 Call), who has particular expertise in public law and human rights. “He also has substantial experience in commercial disputes and investment treaty arbitration, and a growing information law practice. He is regularly instructed in sensitive and high-profile litigation, particularly in matters that raise national security or diplomatic and state immunity issues.” Bethell is a member of the Attorney General’s London C panel and the specialist Public International Law C panel.
• Ruth Kennedy (2015 Call), a specialist in commercial, employment and public law. “Her cases frequently have an international focus in both private and public disputes,” 11KBW said. Kennedy is a member of the Attorney General’s London C panel and the specialist Public International Law C panel. She is currently instructed as junior counsel to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.

Bethell and Susskind joined chambers on 14 June. Kennedy joins the set on 21 June.
