Real estate solicitor rejoins Devonshires as a partner after eight years away

A solicitor who previously worked at law firm Devonshires has returned to the firm as a partner to strengthen its growing Real Estate and Projects practice.

Katie Fung left Devonshires in 2013 and re-joins from Winckworth Sherwood where she has spent the past eight years.

Fung, who specialises in site acquisitions, development, strategic land and developer and registered provider joint ventures, said: “This is an exciting opportunity and I am very happy to be returning to Devonshires, having previously spent three years at the firm. I am delighted to join the partnership and to be able to add my expertise to such a dynamic practice.”

Fung predominately works with registered providers and represented Catalyst Housing on their joint venture to develop Wimbledon Stadium. She also regularly acts for A2Dominion having represented them on numerous site acquisitions and development projects over the years including Knowle Park, Brooklands College and Bristol Harbourside.

Jonathan Corris, partner in real estate and projects team, said: “Katie knows Devonshires well and we are delighted to welcome her back. Her appointment is great news for us and our clients. Her wealth of experience complements the strong team we have and demonstrates our commitment to continue the expansion of the Real Estate and Projects team.”

Her appointment takes the total number of partners at Devonshires to 44.
