- Details
Rupert Cohen has joined specialist property and planning set Landmark Chambers as a member of its property team.
Called to the bar in 2011, Cohen formerly practised at Hardwicke Chambers. He has a property, costs and commercial chancery practice. In addition, he is an ADR Accredited Mediator and a member of a specialist costs mediation panel.
He was appointed to the Attorney General’s C Panel in 2017.
Cohen’s arrival at Landmark comes shortly after Zia Bhaloo QC’s appointment from Enterprise Chambers, as well as the recruitment of Senior Practice Manager, Mark Ball, from Falcon Chambers.
David Holland QC, head of the Landmark property team, said: “I am extremely pleased that Rupert Cohen has joined us. He will reinforce the existing strength of our property team and add to Landmark’s well-known costs expertise. Along with the recent recruitment of Zia Bhaloo QC, this is another indication our commitment to grow these areas of practice”.
Paul Newhall, Chief Executive of Landmark, added: “Recruiting Rupert is another important step in strengthening further Landmark’s award-winning property team – we’re delighted to welcome him to Chambers.”
