Trowers advises on £4.2bn Major Projects Framework for Places for People Group

Law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised Places for People Group on the procurement and construction set up of its Major Projects Framework and appointment of contractors across three regional lots.

Places for People is a leading affordable homes-led placemaker owning or managing 219,000 homes across the UK.

The contractors appointed were Willmott Dixon, Robertsons and Farrans.

The framework will deliver over £900m projects for Places for People and other contracting authorities in Scotland, £3bn in England and Wales and £300m in Northern Ireland.

Trowers was appointed to bring innovation and expertise to supplement the team at Places for People Procurement Hub and advised on the construction contracts, form of Framework Agreement using FAC 1 and the procurement process.
