Health and care regulator issues tender for £2.88m public law and other services
- Details
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) has issued a tender notice for a £2.88m legal services framework to support its operational and regulatory functions.
The framework has been divided into the following lots:
- Lot (1a) covers the HCPC’s requirements for a broad range of corporate law and other specialist advice and services, including in relation to its responsibilities as an employer
- Lot (2a) relates to the HCPC’s requirements for advice and services related to its regulatory functions, education, registration and fitness to practise (excluding FTP case preparation and presentation services).
The contract is expected to run from 1 April 2026 to 29 March 2028, with a possible extension to 29 March 2030.
The HCPC regulates 15 professions that provide health and care services in the UK.
Earlier this month it invited tenders for the provision of external legal services to support the preparation, management, and presentation of FtP cases. That framework is estimated to be worth £28.8m.
