North of England housing association to set up £3.6m legal services framework

Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is to establish a multi-supplier framework for the provision of legal services worth an estimated £3.6m over four years.
The framework has been divided into the following lots:
- Land and Development.
- Housing.
- Corporate and Commercial.
- Treasury and Loans; and
- Employment and Pensions.
CCHA intends to appoint between one and three suppliers to each Lot. Bidders may apply for one, several or all Lots.
The framework will run for an initial 36 months starting from 30 October 2026, with an option at the discretion of CCHA to extend for a further 12 months.
CCHA was created in July 2017 when the Two Castles and Derwent and Solway Housing Associations merged.
It owns and manages more than 7,400 properties in rural and urban communities across the North of England, with around 75% located in Cumbria.
