South West housing association names four firms to £600k framework

A housing association in the South West has appointed four law firms to a £600,000 legal services framework agreement covering employment and housing management issues.
Plymouth Community Homes owns and manages more than 15,000 homes in the city.
The four-year framework agreement is divided into two lots and will cover: employment law; housing advice; tenancy breaches, nuisance and anti-social behaviour (possession proceedings and injunctions); preserved right to buy and right to acquire; disrepair claims; contracts and agreements; building health and safety; and commercial premises (shops).
The successful firms were:
- Tozers (Lot 1 – housing management);
- Capsticks (Lot 1 – housing management);
- Bond Dickinson (Lot 2 – employment and corporate support);
- Ashfords (Lot 2 – employment and corporate support).
The award criteria were: quality (weighting 60); and price (weighting 40).
