Matthew joined 42BR following the successful completion of his pupillage in October 2024. He is developing a broad practice across chambers’ main areas of expertise.

Prior to pupillage, Matthew was part of the automated vehicles project at the Law Commission of England and Wales, whose report recommended new legislation for the safe introduction of self-driving cars.
