Equalities watchdog issues information notice on renewing £2m panel of counsel

The PIN is not a call for competition. However, it does allow the Commission to take advantage of reduced timescales, if it progresses to seek competitive tenders to renew its panel of barristers and advocates. It also enables suppliers to send expressions of interest.

The range of value for the services is estimated to be between £1.5m and 2m excluding VAT.

The EHRC said it reserved the right to have one or more lots within the successor panel, if appointed.

It also reserved the right to use a compliant framework agreement (concluded by another contracting authority) to award contracts for legal services as appropriate.
