The ghost of data breaches past
In our Data Protection and Information Governance update Tomos Lewis (Partner) will be joined by Matt Jones, PureCyber’s Chief Defensive Security Officer. Matt will provide an insight into data breaches in the public sector, including:
- detail incident response scenarios;
- reviewing a few real-life incidents he has experienced and dealt with;
- providing practical steps public sector organisations can take when they experience a data breach; and
- share details of best practices to lower risk of breaches occurring.
Holly Spencer-Biggs (Associate) will also provide an overview of the current trends in data breach compensation claims and how courts have approached such claims.
