Panel discussion and launch of Andy Lane’s Cornerstone on Social Housing Fraud (3rd ed)
Housing fraud comes in many different forms – e.g. sub-letting, succession or Right to Buy fraud, allocation misrepresentation, etc. – but regardless of the precise activity being addressed, the question of evidence is, unsurprisingly, key.
That includes not only pre-litigation investigations but also post-issue applications, such as a Part 18 Request for Further Information and CPR r. 31.12 specific disclosure orders. The panel will consider and address best practice to ensure a positive result in possession and other actions. Speakers include Katrina Robinson MBE, Chair of the Tenancy Fraud Forum, Kuljit Bhogal KC and Andy Lane
This event marks the official launch of the third edition of Cornerstone on Social Housing Fraud, the leading reference guide for local housing authorities and housing associations seeking to detect, investigate and take action against social housing fraud. Published the by Bloomsbury Professional, the book launch will follow the panel with all guests invited to attend.
