A zero sum game?

Further education group to procure £1.4m legal framework

NCG Corporation, which oversees the activity of seven UK colleges, has fired the gun on the procurement of a legal services framework worth an estimated £1.4m.

The contract has been divided into the following lots:

  1. Property, Estates and Construction
  2. Employment
  3. Commercial and Corporate

A maximum of three contracts per lot will be awarded following the procurement.

NCP Corporation anticipates that the initial contract will be in place for a period of four years commencing 1 April 2024.

The initial period will run from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2028. There will then be an option to extend the contract for two further periods of two years (24 months); 1 April 2028 to 31 March 2030 and 1 April 2030 to 31 March 2032 or retender the opportunity.

NCG Corporation oversees Carlisle College, Kidderminster College, Lewisham College, Newcastle College, Newcastle Sixth Form College, Southwark College and West Lancashire College.
