A zero sum game?

Major further education provider to appoint single supplier to £2m legal services contract

Further education provider NCG Corporation has unveiled plans to appoint a single supplier to a fixed price, outsourced legal services contract with a single supplier.

NCG Corporation: “The appointed supplier will provide measurable, high quality and high value-added legal services. This may include issues arising relating to international law where NCG would expect a provider to support with matters relating to our international school.”

The value of the contract is estimated at £2m.

It is anticipated that the initial contract will be in place for a period of four years commencing 26 October 2023. The initial period will run from 26 October 2023 to 25 October 2027. There will then be an option to extend the contract for two further periods of two years (24 months); 26 October 2027 to 25 October 2029 and 26 October 2029 to 25 October 2031.

NCG Corporation has seven colleges in England:

  • West Lancashire College

The group teaches more than 30,000 students.
