Highway Law specialist and senior IQ Legal trainer, Tom Graham, will apply his extensive knowledge gained over a nearly forty year legal career focusing on the maintenance of trees under highway authority ownership. Topics will include: liability for trees; roots and branches on private land adjacent to highways.

The course will include reference to high profile cases and relate specifically to the following sections of Highway Law:

• Section 154 of the Highways Act 1980
• Section 79 of the Highways Act 1980
