This one day Introduction to Cyber Security workshop will introduce the main concepts of cyber security, the benefits of good cyber security management and will explain how risk management is used as a means of determining priorities for action.

Delegates will be introduced to the most commonly used frameworks and standards that are available to assist in protecting from cyber security related threats including:

• the UK Government Cyber Essentials Scheme
• the 10 Steps to Cyber Security
• IASME
• the NIST Cyber Security Framework
• ISO 27001

The course will also enable delegates to benefit from an understanding of the certification process to the above standards, associated cost and the benefits of certification.
