Act Now training has successfully delivered a face to face classroom-based SIROs and IAOs course for a number of years. This new course will provide delegates with the opportunity to undertake the same course but via an online learning platform in which delegates can participate in the training directly from their own homes or offices.

The DPA 2018 introduces exemptions to the normal GDPR rules as well as additional obligations when processing Special Categories Data and criminal records data. It also implements the Law Enforcement Directive which regulates the processing of personal data about criminal investigations and prosecutions.

This is an essential online 1-day series of workshops for all Data Protection practitioners who wish to further their understanding of the UK Data Protection regime.

The course will use several interactive exercises to ensure all delegates can participate and ask questions.

Online training provides a sustainable alternative for public authorities concerned to reduce their carbon-footprint.
