The content of this full day session will focus on the officer/member relationship and working at the political interface. It will explore complex challenges for officers in senior posts, using case study scenarios. The session will also cover any topical issues which may impact on relevant roles and challenges, for example new reports, guidance, case law and changes to the standards regime.

The course offers an opportunity for experienced delegates who want a refresher and update on current challenges and developments on this topic and/or delegates who have attended LLG’s Essential Guide to Political Awareness session.

The Masterclass is designed as a workshop to allow for plenty of delegate interaction and discussion.
